As an Architect expanding my practice into the Arts' metaphysical realms, I seek to confront the incommensurable voids excavated by the Anthropocene. Thru minerals extraction, key to global economies and the shift-away from fossil fuels, multinational mining companies dig into the Earth's depths, reaching extents visible from the lithosphere. While ancestral communities revere Earth as a life-giving deity, humankind manifests its presence thru large-scale geomorphological shifts—the extraction & depletion of resources in an unending cycle of accumulation. Are these the geoglyphs of our time?
