Jeju Island is the most visited tourist destination in Korea, but it holds a tragic event from 70 years ago when ideological conflicts led to the loss of over 30,000 innocent island residents. The civilian massacre, caused by political strife, remains a painful and sorrowful memory for the victims and their families. The portraits in this tunnel are actual photos of those who lost their lives during the 4.3 Massacre.
