An earthquake is a movement of a portion of the earth's surface. But it is also a series of ‘consequences’. The Belice Valley was devastated in 1968 by an earthquake that claimed dozens of victims, and has left marks that are still visible. A reconstruction that followed architectural criteria too far from the spirit and history of the Belice has left as its legacy new, but alien, settlements. ‘Consequences’ goes to investigate what remains of the choices made almost 60 years ago. It shows the ‘architectural’ remains of those choices that influenced village life.
