Alex Pollack The interplay of light and shadow is hauntingly beautiful, lending the image a dreamlike, ethereal quality.

This photo was taken in Kamikochi, Japan.Because of the abundant spring water in this location, many ice art forms such as fog ice and frosted flowers can be seen on extremely cold mornings. Especially at the moment when the morning sun begins to shine, all the ice shines and fog is generated from the spring water, creating a mysterious and beautiful sight.
