I-Chan Park “The Window Between Us” is a record of vision that captures the breath of the city and the most unguarded moments of its people within a world of gray tones. A window is not merely a sheet of transparent glass; it becomes a delicate membrane that divides inside from outside, an invisible boundary through which we secretly glimpse one another. Beyond that threshold, we encounter fleeting gestures, passing expressions, and the unconscious performances of everyday life. The moments within these photographs approach us as if speaking in silence, urging us to reflect not only on the lives of others but also on the gaze with which we view them. It is not a simple act of looking; it is a fragile space where observation and empathy waver, a quiet inquiry into the deep ethics that lie between the visible and the unseen. In the end, “The Window Between Us” gently awakens the enduring possibility of human connection, even in a world viewed from a distance.
