Tara Pixley, PhD. These beautiful vignettes offer an intimate look into a life well-loved and well-lived, where homescapes tell quiet stories rarely seen by outsiders.
“Living(Rooms)” is my search for the meaning of home. Raised without examples of family or safety, I turned to the intimate spaces of others—friends, strangers, and kind souls who let me in. Through quiet light, unmade beds, and candid moments, I found reflections of the life I wanted to build for my daughter. These images aren’t just portraits of people—they’re portraits of resilience, tenderness, and shared humanity, revealing how sacred the ordinary can be.
