This series addresses the historical connections between photography and painting. However, instead of adopting an academic or impressionist language, it opts for geometric abstraction. In these images everything is architecture and everything is photography, including the colors. However, I seek to break down both the idea of architecture and photography. I photograph buildings to undo them. With its fragments, I create signs of imaginary edifices. Born from existing architecture, the photographs are transfigured. They become imagined architectures. Architected images. Like a painting.
