During this time of great uncertainty across the globe, I wanted to create an image that represents all of us – not just some – and allows each person to see a reflection of themselves within it. I understand it may evoke feelings of discomfort, grief, or even indignation; however, I believe it serves as a much-needed reminder of our past, our present, and what may lie ahead. I won’t tell you what this image means to me, because I created it with the intention of letting each viewer decide for themselves.
