An early autumn day is drawing to a close in Saint-Malo, Brittany. A pouring rain accompanied by a strong wind transforms the atmosphere and the last pale lights trying to illuminate the coast. On the Mole des Noires leading to the lighthouse, there's only one man walking as if nothing was happening. He advances alone and purposefully, as if the rain, the wind, and the vaguely disturbing atmosphere didn't exist for him. For a moment, I think, "Look at this strange guy." Then I think more deeply and smile: like him, I'm out in the downpour, enjoying it and taking photos.
