Dust to Dust is a series of photos from an annual gathering of avid photographers and outdoor automotive enthusiasts. Dirt bikes and ATVs are absolutely not my area of expertise nor a hobby. However, when I discovered this event from a friend, I had to fly to Utah to photograph a hobby and landscape I was very unfamiliar with. It was an incredibly foreign feeling to be standing in the middle of the Utah desert, photographing speeding dirt bikes buzzing all around me. It oddly felt like a dance as I was spinning around, capturing images of these ridersm silhouetted against the sun.
