Influenced by fairy tales of a child and fascinated by food of myth and folklore, this is a tribute to those tales. In collaboration with food stylist Katelyn Hardwick, we set out to depict food that would be found in a forest or field. We propped within the context of nature to create an environment that narrates those antiquated stories. I lit the scenes to be redolent of a sunlit, dappled forest.
