Nature is declining at rates unprecedented in human history. One-third of animal and plant species could be gone in the next 50 years. Photographing them in the wild is a humbling experience, especially since humans are responsible for the many challenges they face. It is difficult to imagine that these majestic animals may become extinct in the near future. With this ongoing project I want to show what would be lost if we don’t protect them.
