I was enchanted by a pianist. A passionate woman devoted to the piano. As her fingers dance in a beautiful ballet, her music strikes my heart. I am a photographer. An art form with no sound. She is a musician. An art form of pure sound. Yet with my photography alone, I sought to express her music. When I started shooting, I desperately tried to capture the ballerina dancing on the keyboard. But as the session continued, the ballerina faded away, replaced with her spirit. Her spirit became a fairy, dancing freely across that black and white stage. Finally, the photographs began to play music.
