This is a portrait of coal worker on the outskirts of Varanasi. I visited the area to document the hard work of the laborers and daily activities. In this area the workers are employed to load coal into trucks. The coal is shoveled into trucks for later distributions. I had the opportunity to photograph this worker with permission of his supervisor.
