The term roots can mean several things. In the vegetal world, this is the part that attached them to the soil and nourrished them. In this sense, all peasants of the world can be considered as the roots of all the humanity. This photograph is a tribute to the work of millions of peasants around the world, who often work hard to gain a certain quality of life and to provide, for all of us, a food security.
