Recalling ancient frescos, these images portray grace bearing witness to fallen empires. Still, hope persists. Civilization has tattered, but yet to fade. Faint but unbowed, its essence remains. Like fragments of Greek statuary, we may still be inspired to persevere, undaunted by the transgressions surrounding us.
