Seadragons inhabit shallow (Mainly 5–25m depth) reefs and seagrass meadows from the east coast of NSW, Victoria, and South Australia, across to Western Australia. Their habitat can vary from seagrasses to kelp and other seaweed forests, and often they reside around long jetties teaming with an abundance of other marine life.
