Paris Pop
Large capitals hit by a pandemic like no other in modern history have been successively locked-down in 2020. Cities have lost their sparkle, people have felt deprived from their social habits. Paris Pop is a creative photographic collage project aiming at restoring colour which has faded for too long. It is a graphic representation of urban hope, a reminder to all that life will eventually regain our streets and cities will soon shine bright day and night.
These compositions are a creative digital collage of multiple photographs.

Biography
Joel is a French visual artist and photographer. His passion was rooted in early childhood, having grown up in a family of photographers. He finds inspiration from places and cultures where he lives and travels. Having settled in multiple continents has shaped his eye and photographic expression to be fascinated by contrasts, conflicts and interactions between people, saturated urban environments, and Nature. Collage techniques of overlapping photographs help him express these complicated relationships.
