Sanitized was created as a response to the current situation, where the set, completely covered in plastic, is here to remind the Covid crisis. There is yet a more profound sense, more conceptual: sterilization of our society and its culture with the hero in the middle of it. The perfect smoothness of the material represents the wish to create a world without deformities, where the priority is no more to appeal to someone but to not displease anybody. And in the middle of this stands the hero, not covered in plastic, and to decide whether to accept or not the new world we are living in.
