I had seen so many photographs of the NY skyline from Brooklyn Bridge Park and of course I wanted to have my own version. I had a vision in my mind to get the shot during sunset. On a two day trip to my cousins’ place I finally managed to script my dream shot to life. The sunset was mesmerizing and bathed the city in gold. This photograph is a time blend. I shot from sunset to blue hour and then brought back the city lights in the sunlit frame in post-process. New York is about the lights and the glamor. I wanted to blend nature into glamor to showcase the beauty both can present together.
