A diver scootering into the aquifer, the veins of Mother Earth, where the majority of our drinking water comes from in Florida. Overhead the tannic water from the Santa Fe River mixes with the clear spring water creating the color you see in the photo. The diver is entering a cave that has thousands and thousands of feet of passage. The amazing colors of the tannic water is not edited. It looks like this from decaying organic material. The spring pumps out millions of gallons of water a day creating incredible flow.
