I made this series of three shots at Jrebchevo dam, Bulgaria. There used to be a village in this valley until the communists decided to build a dam. They moved all the people out. Today only the St. Ivan Rilski church, which left from the village is visible, because it was in the highest point of the village. It sinks halfway in the spring and summer and it's entirely dry and you can walk inside it in the winter. Next to that church, there is a small forest, and when the water get higher, it submerge them too. What is in common in that series is that, non of the subject has to be in the water.
