Shana Nys Dambrot I love the perfect marriage of sophisticated humor with craftsmanship and attention to detail. Each image is great (both clear and mysterious as we read the symbolism in the suits) but as a whole idea/project/series it's exceptional. I can easily imagine the book, the show, the deck. These six only make me want to see them all.
Every knight, queen, and king in a deck of playing cards should be allowed to have their own personality, their backstory. This series invites you to phantasize about them.
