Hasselblad H4D-40 40mp full frame sensor using a 120mm macro lens. Focus stacked.

Still life allows us to pause, observe and contemplate the world as an endless series of remarkable details. These small deer bones are no more than 20mm in size but when scaled up in isolation become abstract sculptural objects in their own right. Each image blends together many shots using a focus stacking technique, to create pin-sharp detail from nearest to farthest points. They are captured using a macro lens on a Hasselblad medium format digital camera for maximum resolution for large format print sizes.
