Joy Ride is a short film created for Nikon Corporation to show off the video features of their new camera, the D800 HDSLR. The film needed to capture the interest of today's up-and-coming and star directors. In direct competition with Canon who, in the past, had the edge on Nikon in the HDSLR market - this film was created to put Nikon on the map. The film captures high speed intense action, beautiful low light qualities, and dramatic slow motion footage. Joy Ride was a huge viral success surpassing all expectations and put Nikon in a great position to take over Canon's stock in the HDSLR market.
