As an artist, I study the relationship between our body and the natural landscape devoid of the built environment. In this work I capture the perceptual qualities of time expressed as events, moments, and memory with the goal of breaking the linear experience of time. As a result insignificant moments become significant events, heightening one's experience of a moment in time and space. As a concerned being, I am interested in impaired bodies of water and the water rights of wildlife. This water-focused work allows me to merge my interests and to use my art beyond aesthetic inquiries and as social action.
