My father was an athletic and energetic man even in his 80's. For the last 4 years he has had a caregiver for his daily needs. The relationship between my father and his caregiver is both an intimate and a business relationship. While taking care of my father’s most personal needs, including shaving, showering, and dressing him, his caregiver is tender, patient and thoughtful. This caregiver is very good at his job. At 93 years old, my father would be dead without his care.
