‘Intersubjectivity’ is comprised of two different types of images; self-portraits and the things around me. The reason for pairing these images together is to validate my sense of belonging to the world, somewhere between a “subjective” and “objective” perspective. Shooting my surroundings is completely my subjectivity. Pictures translate into objectivity through the process of being seen by others, even though it is taken from my subjective perspective. Therefore, there is no way to convey how I feel when I shoot things around me. To utilize my body as a figure of moving emotion and put my self portrait next to the things I took, it allows the pictures to withhold the sound of my voice and as a result, it makes people being able to see the pictures as close to my subjective point of view and feeling as possible when I shoot things. By recording myself, and the things around me, I feel the connections to people in an organic way. I press the shutter and one moment is a decision of mine.
