I venture out in search of scenes containing some source of light, however so subtle that will enhance the mysterious quality of the night. I take advantage of the camera's ability to see what the human eye cannot perceive to capture a moment from a world where night and day coexist. Using long exposures and often the addition of artificial lighting to manipulate the scene, I am able to present a recognizable place in a mysterious and unfamiliar way. By letting the night set the stage, I never know where I will wind up or what I will find.
