Willis Tower (formerly Sears Tower) in Chicago, Illinois was from 1973 until 1998 the tallest building in the world. At its base rests an atrium and metallic globe. This day, I set out to photograph only Willis Tower, but I was so drawn to the relationship between the three. There was such strength and power emanating from the giant Willis Tower that hovered over its counterparts. The image was taken just past mid day which produced strong light across each object. A long exposure sky was substituted to complete the illusion of a moonlight sonata. Willis Tower - Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill
