The way that light finds a way to peek in through the canyon’s depths is mesmerizing. The way the light bounces off of the smooth sandstone walls, how it mixes with the deep sandy reds and oranges painted across the canyon’s surface. How the sun reflects across the complex structure that the canyon holds, nature's architecture. Standing inside the canyon was an experience I’ll cherish for the rest of my life. As we walked through the canyon it seemed to move alongside us like waves in an ocean, with the blue sky glistening above. In that candid moment, everything seemed to go still.
