There is no greater thrill for a sports photographer than covering the Olympics. With every click of the shutter you are documenting history with the Games dating back to 776 BC in Olympia, Greece. The 2024 Paris Summer Olympics were the first post-covid Games which meant that fans from around the globe could once again fill the stands. Between photographing, editing and captioning there was little time for rest but worth every ounce of our energy. As fellow photographer David Burnett said over noodles midnight in during the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, “We can sleep in September." He wasn't joking.
