This series was photographed during the 2025 demonstrations in Los Angeles in response to ICE-related enforcement actions. The images focus on moments of quiet tension between law enforcement and civilians, captured in the stillness before confrontation. Shortly after taking these photographs, I was struck by a rubber bullet—a reminder of how fragile the space between observer and subject can be. These photographs document not resolution, but a pause between opposing forces.
