Guo Jing, curator, is a board member of Global Photographic Union (GPU), Chapter President of Royal Photographic Society (RPS) Shangtuf Chapter, and liaison officer of New York Photographic Society in Zhejiang, China. She is a member of China Photographer Association, and Photographic Society of America, and beholder of distinctions of AFIAP, LRPS, GPU-CR2, GPU Title. She was invited to the jury and reviewer panel of photographic events in several countries in US, Ukraine, Greece, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Italy, Kuwait, Oman, etc, among which are Trierenberg Super Circuit in Austria for seven consecutive years from 2012 to 2018, Critical Mass from 2015 to 2018 and IPAChina from 2017-2018.

Selected as one of the curators, she completed a curatorial workshop in 2016 in New York along with a delegation of Chinese curators from major art institutes in China. She was invited as reviewer to China Lishui International Photography Cultural Festivalin 2012 and Photolucida Portfolio Review in 2017 and 2019. Besides, she has been curating exhibitions for most established photo festivals in China, Pingyao International Photo Festival, Lishui Photography and Culture Festival, Photo Beijing, Shanghai International Photo Festival, Yixian Photo Festival, Dali Photo Exhibition Biennale, Sanmenxia International Photo Festival. In Photo Beijing 2014, she curated an exhibition featuring on 10 presidents of photo institutions from 10 countries, and won Pegasus Awards, highest honor for curators in China. She has been invited as Chief Curator of international exhibitions by Camel Bell on Silk Road Naiman International Photography Festival in 2018, Yixian International Photography Festival from 2013 to 2018, Qinghai International Festival in 2014, as well as Asian representative of Rabat Lumiere in 2018.

In recent few years, she has been engaged in photography exchange events, collaborating with partners in US, Ukraine, Greece, Italy, South Africa, Morocco, Germany, Oman, UK, UAE. Among them are 2014-2015 “Beautiful Countries” China-South Africa Photography Exchange Exhibition to celebrate South Africa Year in China and China Year in South Africa, “Belt and Road” Initiative to North Africa to celebrate 60thAnniversary of China-Morocco Bilateral Relationship since establishment.

She is the author of the book entitled Top Secrets of Award-winning Photography.
