Whether kicking back with celebrated Harlem haberdasher Dapper Dan to share his story in Dazed or penning the “Art Outsider” column for the first issues of Whitewall, Miss Rosen has brought her original take on art, music, and culture to the glossies since 1997. Her work has appeared in The Village Voice, L’Uomo Vogue, and Bust, as well as websites including Magnum Photos, Vogue, Vice, The Undefeated, AnOther, AnOther Man, Document Journal, Aperture, Feature Shoot, and Huck, among others.

Miss Rosen has contributed critical essays, artist profiles, and interviews to illustrated books, artist monographs, and exhibition catalogues for Janette Beckman, Joe Conzo, Martha Cooper, Roger Gastman, Arlene Gottfried, Harvey Stein, Allan Tannenbaum, and the Bronx Museum of the Arts.

During her 10-year tenure as Vice President of Marketing at powerHouse Books, Miss Rosen established her own imprint specializing in contemporary urban culture. As publisher of Miss Rosen Editions, she collaborated with artists on all aspects of the book, from photo editing, sequencing, art direction, and book design to production, sales, marketing, publicity, and promotions.
