Nan Oshin

Creative Director

Nan has deep experience in creative direction and design over a broad range of content — with expertise in the art direction of photography, the development and implementation of brand identity, and the development of creative strategies for editorial, retail, travel, fashion, lifestyle, celebrity and food.

Her recent clients have included Lonely Planet, the Meredith Corporation, Williams-Sonoma as well as educational clients. She led the creative efforts at the Los Angeles Times Sunday Magazine for a number of years and taught photography at Art Center College of Design for a decade.

Nan has won awards for art direction and design, including awards from American Photography, American Illustration, CMYK, Communication Arts, Photo District News, the AIGA, the Los Angeles Press Club, the Society of News Designers, the Society of Publication Designers, and the Western Publishing Association, and has been fortunate to serve on juries and design competitions for Communication Arts Magazine, MOPLA, Photo District News, PX3, the APA, the IPA, the Palm Springs Photography Festival, the Society of Publication Designers, the Spotlight Awards, and Women in Design.
