The International Photography Awards are delighted to announce the category winners and finalists in its 2024 Photography Competition for the professional and non-professional/student categories.
A stellar international jury of renowned photography experts judged more than 14,000 entries from 100 countries around the world to finally select these outstanding category winners, each of whom are in the running to receive the IPA’s top two prizes—Photographer of the Year for the professional categories, and Discovery of the Year for the non-professional / student categories.

Péter Baki
Péter Baki PhD, historian of photography, director of the Hungarian Museum of Photography (fotomuzeum.hu) and the Hungarian House of Photography (maimano.hu), Deputy Director of the Rippl-Rónai Institute of Art at MATE University, associate professor. Over a career of more than twenty years, he has curated over eighty exhibitions in more than twenty countries around the world. He has published more than a hundred books, book chapters and studies on photography. He is the editor-in-chief of the online photography magazine Punkt (Punkt.hu).
